European Commission has very nice site about it's eco projects at http://www.agores.org
Check it out, they have a lots of programmes info as well as database of projects and Who is Who in ren. energy.
The bad thing about Electro Farming is that they are still not in production mode and are gonna to test first site this summer, which can also be the advantage :)

All the interesting things are happenning. Finding new and new things that can help.
Right now I have a pretty clear concept in my head.
Growing ecoherbs (Sorrel preferably with over 15t/ha) and using the steam reformer transforming it into the hydrogen which will be then used in cell generating the electric power.
More info about steam reformers, etc. is to be found here: http://www.electro-farming.de/e_index.htm
Tonight I will post more calculations and info....

I found an interesting article at http://www.biom.cz/index.shtml?x=112203
Here is an abstract:
In Europe the highest level of biomas usage for energy production is in Finlad. There is 25 % of energy produced out of biomas.In Sweden cca 18,5 % , Austria 12,8 %. In Czech it is 1 %
------------------------------------------------
This is even far more then the official stats say...see below
BTW. from these numbers I counted that an average citizen of Czech consumes some of 0,45172 MWh of electric energy per month.
Is it low or high ?
Counting that wind power energy is being bought out for 3 Kc per 1 KWh, every Czech consumes 452 Kc worth of buy out price electric energy every month......
Interesting numbers:
Energy production netto for April in Czech 6260,6 GWh
PE 4274,9
PPE+PSE 186,9
VE 163,2
PVE 34,0
JE 1635,3
others (VTE,SLE,GOE,AOE) 0,2
where:
PE = steam energy
PPE = steam gass energy
PSE = gass and burning energy
VE = water energy
PVE = repump water energy
JE = nuclear energy
other shortcuts are all the alternative energy production
Here you can see that most of Czech energy is produced in coal powered power plants PE and PPE
only 3,15 % are produced using water resources
26,1 % are produced using nuclear energy ........!!
and only 0,00319 % of total energy are produced using alternative resources ! This is something to think about....!!!!!
I've just counted that when an ordinary family consumes 75 GJ of energy per one year and the official regulated price per heat energy in Czech is 360 Kc/GJ then you will spent at least 27 000 Kc per year.
If I would count in terms of Sorrel, then count with me. 1 ha produces 15 t of dried Sorrel. It produces app 275 GJ thus you need only one third of it to heat your home, it is 5 t. If 1 t would cost 3 000 Kc, you would pay only 5 x 3 000 Kc which is 15 000 thus you would save 12 000 Kc. Isn't that great ? :))))
P.S.
the official prices for energy are taken from Regulatory Bureau for Energy of Czech Republic www.eru.cz
Today I found very, very interesting thing. Actually, I knew of it for a while, but it was pointed to my mind just today by a mayor of Jindrichovice...
It is the plant of Sorrel of Uteusch. The Ukrainien brand of Sorrel produced by professor Uteusch for energetic purpose.
The plant gives about 15t of dried mass per 1 ha.
It can be planted for over 20 years and 15t give 275 GJ/ha which can easily satisfy 3 homes.....
The good thing is that you actually harvest it dried (as a hay) and you can use usual harvesting and planting techniques....
I think of it very high, have to contact the authors....
Don't know if you ever heard about the company, but there is a little company established in 2001 by couple of scientistcs called Nanosolar.
The edge of the company is that they start to produce the solar panels for just a piece of normal cost....It can be a real breakthrough....On 19th June they secured first round of financing $6,5 M.
Wish them good luck and really, really look forward to their products.....
Look at www.nanosolar.com
At first I have to talk about the wind energy. Today I visited the first commercial wind power plants in Czech....Gosh, they are awesome......the polls are over 50 meteers high....the propellers go round and round....the head spins.....
There is two of them and they can make 1 MWh. In case you wanna see more look at www.jindrichovice.cz
They are owned by a small village of Jindrichovice which is the home of 600 people. The power plant brings more then 10x more cash into the village budget then taxes :)))))) This is the way to go :)
The state energetical company buys 1 KWh per 3 Kc
ENERGYCON begins.... The journey shall rise....
Dear fellows,
Here at this my little blog you will be able to watch my journey of finding new solutions for clean and green energy.
Couple of principles:
- solution must be economically efficient
- must be able to use on local basis as well as on export basis
- seeking for such solutions I can implement in real world
- wastes are preffered
From now on I will go the path of seeking, asking, sharing and trying to implement it into real world. My reasons are not only ecological, I am searching for solutions that will be viable as economical methods as well.....
So join the board the wind starts blowing, ship is rising it's sails...it's time to seek the adventures.......
